The Association for the development of "Alto Guadiana Mancha" was created to promote a joined territorial strategy in medium and long-term with the aim of creating employment, enterprises and by improving the quality of life of its inhabitants, through friendly performances with the enviroment, promoting the participation and involvement of society in all actions of the region.

The region has got  a wide range of agro-food products and representative industries both nationally and internationally (wine, milk and meat sectors, etc). Considering the situation of the different sectors we count with, we have decided on the fruit and vegetable sector because we do believe that it is actually the most needed one regarding development, due to the limited added value the companies of the region contribute to and considering that they do not extend to the all productive circuit. Although products of this region reach a high quality, there are  no companies in, which had extended  their possibilities in order not to be dependent on third companies from other geographical areas.

Our region extends to the main productive villages of fruit and vegetable sector and our purpose is giving support as we have already done with other industrial sectors in the past. It is also a sector that emploies many young people and women.
